Aija Bley’s photography initiative “Portrait Workshop” began in December 2014, and will continue until May 31 2014. The portraits created in the studio reference both the salon photography tradition of the previous century, as well as contemporary portrait photography. The art is in the creative process, in which the cooperation between artist and model is essential.

The portraits created within the project will be displayed in an exhibition, which will be updated with new works until it closes.
