Catalogue presentation and art event -the final outcome of a photo workshop with young Latvian artists, who examined the meaning of privacy, intimacy and publicity today.
Following a one-week workshop (March 24 - 28), hosted by galerie mitte im KUBO situated in Riga’s partner city Bremen, in collaboration with the Art Academy of Latvia, young Latvian artists explored the status quo of the relationship between privacy and publicity. Instructed by the artists Annika Nagel and Caspar Sessler, the participating artists focused on the power of photography to make highly complex correlations visible, transparent and emotionally understandable.
